I wouldn't know for the most part. [ Truthfully speaking!! ] But my guess would be a lot of messy looking houses from just being overrun by all of the everything this 'Shimmer' is. What'd add to it would be a couple of wild monsters or animals running loose. We could always run into hostile people too, which would make having a good amount of combat folks come in handy.
