I understand what you mean. I was born rich for the standards of the colonies, but the disparity of wealth and agency between the colonies and Earth is immense. I have never known the poverty of the common colony worker myself, but it's... pitiful. That's why we are fighting for proper independence. So that the elite from Earth can no longer take advantage of the spacenoids, and so that their living conditions will better.

There is nothing inferior about living in space, least of all being born there.
