THE TOWN SQUARE.
[Page silently watches the church burn for a little while, once she's emerged safely from it, before turning away and heading to the town square to meet up with everyone else. It makes sense to rest here, as they did last week, after another town with another tragic story to tell.
At least that time, however, they'd all survived it unscathed.
Once she's made it over to the group, she drops her pack onto the ground and collapses next to it, staring at her feet. It's going to take a bit to...process all of that, and while she'd love to get up in front of everyone and make some kind of rousing speech, she just doesn't have it in her at the moment.
Instead, she'll look up from the stone of the square, eventually, casting her eye over everyone and saying (almost to herself)-]
...I hope everyone is all right.
[That is likely far from true, but...well. They're all alive, Wesker is dead, and that's something. She's trying her best not to look at that little tree-sculpture with the key around its neck.
OOC: Second verse, same as the first! Here's our post-event mingle post, to talk about what the hell just happened in there, lick our wounds, and beg forgiveness from...from Flower Girl. Top-level away; Page will have her own up, if you'd like to talk to her.]

[One of these days someone is going to get Page to actually talk about her feelings and then what.]
I'm fine. I wasn't dealing with the worst of all of that, though!
[Members of the combat team should probably not ditch in the middle of a confrontation, but listen it's fine, Yeager was not here for mossman. Sometimes you just gotta ditch before things get too bad!!!]

You certainly weren't.
[There's actually a bit of bite to her voice, at that one, but thankfully she's too bloody exhausted to start tearing strips off Yeager for disappearing when they could have used that massive gun of his-]
I hope that's the worst we have to deal with, anyway. We were lucky to get out with only two people shot, and not fatally.

Ja, that's true. It does sound as though they'll be able to recover from it, which is good. From here it looks as though the only thing left to do is find a way to destroy the Shimmer, since the three that were left here seem to have... become part of the Shimmer, I suppose.
[Which is just... fantastic. Great.]

I suppose, in that regard, we can count today as a victory. Regardless of how much he'd merged with the Shimmer, it didn't make Wesker impervious to fire, or immortal.
[......
HOPEFULLY?]

We should probably make sure before we leave, but assuming that's correct... Then yes! We've learned something very valuable today!
["Fire is good" a wonderful lesson that everyone needs, clearly.]
