THE TOWN SQUARE.

[Page silently watches the church burn for a little while, once she's emerged safely from it, before turning away and heading to the town square to meet up with everyone else. It makes sense to rest here, as they did last week, after another town with another tragic story to tell.

At least that time, however, they'd all survived it unscathed.

Once she's made it over to the group, she drops her pack onto the ground and collapses next to it, staring at her feet. It's going to take a bit to...process all of that, and while she'd love to get up in front of everyone and make some kind of rousing speech, she just doesn't have it in her at the moment.

Instead, she'll look up from the stone of the square, eventually, casting her eye over everyone and saying (almost to herself)-]

...I hope everyone is all right.

[That is likely far from true, but...well. They're all alive, Wesker is dead, and that's something. She's trying her best not to look at that little tree-sculpture with the key around its neck.

OOC: Second verse, same as the first! Here's our post-event mingle post, to talk about what the hell just happened in there, lick our wounds, and beg forgiveness from...from Flower Girl. Top-level away; Page will have her own up, if you'd like to talk to her.]

[ Thanks, this town has probably dealt with enough smoke today already. ]

It's under control.

[ He straightens up with a slight stretch and lets his hair down from the ponytail he'd tied it up in as he worked. ]

We wasted more bandages than I would have liked, since we weren't able to properly disinfect anything until we got them out of the building and had to immediately change the dressings once we could. We're not at any risk of running out soon, but if we find any more abandoned stores in the future we should make sure we have them on our shopping list.

[ Maybe they won't have to worry about similar incidents like this now that God is dead, since they've been handling the cougars well enough so far, but he's not that optimistic, and he'd rather have some extras than risk running out of something when they need it. ]

[Too bad he's absolutely going to be adding to it later but like, who can blame him. At least it's not more napalm, just a little nicotine and a few dozen chemical sighs.]

It could have been worse, but...

[Like, with everyone crowded in like that and Wesker waving a gun around; maybe the only reason it didn't escalate even more was that Krauser literally didn't do anything and they were a little too jammed in for real lines of sight. One hopes.

He still doesn't particularly like it, but maybe it's about as prepared as they ever would be for death church. For now he just nods placidly.]

We could probably improvise if we really needed to -- we haven't lost much of the rest of our luggage and there should be more towns and other types of supplies, too. [...] He said there weren't any other survivors.

[It's hard to tell if Wesker was telling the truth, but they can maybe spend less time fighting humans going forward. Ideally. He's not sure...]

Well, yes, but the hope is that we won't need to, if we try to plan accordingly.

[ He's no stranger to emergency medical improvisation, at least; so even if that hope doesn't pan out, yes, they should still be able to manage. ]

Honestly, if there aren't any more, that will probably make things easier for us.
