[Page silently watches the church burn for a little while, once she's emerged safely from it, before turning away and heading to the town square to meet up with everyone else. It makes sense to rest here, as they did last week, after another town with another tragic story to tell.

At least that time, however, they'd all survived it unscathed.

Once she's made it over to the group, she drops her pack onto the ground and collapses next to it, staring at her feet. It's going to take a bit to...process all of that, and while she'd love to get up in front of everyone and make some kind of rousing speech, she just doesn't have it in her at the moment.

Instead, she'll look up from the stone of the square, eventually, casting her eye over everyone and saying (almost to herself)-]

...I hope everyone is all right.

[That is likely far from true, but...well. They're all alive, Wesker is dead, and that's something. She's trying her best not to look at that little tree-sculpture with the key around its neck.

[It isn't an apology, but it is serious. Yeager watches the church burn as well, quiet for a moment as he thinks.]

We may not come across any threats quite like that again. Those two... Well, they were in the Shimmer for a long time, ja? Do you think there could be others like them that haven't turned into plants?

[It's a genuine question; obviously he wasn't there for the whole confrontation so he doesn't know what was said, but just going off of what they've seen so far... it seems weird for people to have survived for so long in here.]

[Heinwald wasn't seeking one, so Yeager's good there. He's just here to state the facts like a good researcher, or...something.]

It is difficult to say. The two of them had unique biology that may have altered or slowed their transformations.

[Wesker was a unique case, though...but Krauser would probably be a better example of a slowed transformation.]

Rather than banking on finding another Wesker or Krauser, we ought to keep a steady observation of each other as we go along. We may be able to gauge how drastically or minimally it can affect some over others that way.

[That sure is a happy thing to consider, isn't it?]

[Without thinking, Yeager rests a hand on his chest. It's an idle gesture he does sometimes, so it's not anything that's too likely to draw attention, but that doesn't make it any less annoying. It's a damn good thing no one here actually knows about that...]

That certainly is going to be a bit difficult to handle. But you're right, we need to keep an eye on everyone. I imagine you and the other researchers are going to want to keep track of any changes.

[To see what they all have in common, and what bizarre things are happening to one person and not the others. It makes sense, but he doesn't like it.]

[Learning of the Shimmer's potential involvement with their bodies has given Heinwald some concern in a similar regard... Can he really handle more intermingling?

Well, he's trying not to dwell on it. He's busy looking toward the fire to notice Yeager's anxious gesture, but he looks back not long after he's withdrawn his hand.]

Of course. It would only hurt the group as a whole to keep anything like that a secret.

[It's just any changes, so he can manage that. It really does have the potential of screwing everyone over if those changes aren't shared with the group, so that makes sense to him.]
