THE TOWN SQUARE.

[Page silently watches the church burn for a little while, once she's emerged safely from it, before turning away and heading to the town square to meet up with everyone else. It makes sense to rest here, as they did last week, after another town with another tragic story to tell.

At least that time, however, they'd all survived it unscathed.

Once she's made it over to the group, she drops her pack onto the ground and collapses next to it, staring at her feet. It's going to take a bit to...process all of that, and while she'd love to get up in front of everyone and make some kind of rousing speech, she just doesn't have it in her at the moment.

Instead, she'll look up from the stone of the square, eventually, casting her eye over everyone and saying (almost to herself)-]

...I hope everyone is all right.

[That is likely far from true, but...well. They're all alive, Wesker is dead, and that's something. She's trying her best not to look at that little tree-sculpture with the key around its neck.

[It absolutely is a lot to think about, and quite frankly, he's happy to take a break from it to speak with Felicia.

He turns his attention away from the church for the time being and shakes his head.]

Not at all. Please, have a seat.

[Felicia will gladly plop down, then, at least managing somewhat of a smile. Today's been a bit...much, to say the least, but if anyone's probably having a rough go of it, it's Heinwald, she imagines.

...Still, Felicia is going to idly pick a couple of flowers and get started on yet another necklace or something while she talks, but--]

How are you feeling? I know today must have been...well, a lot, to say the least.

[Heinwald shifts so he can properly face Felicia, idly watching her work on that necklace as he replies.]

This may be a bit of a disappointing answer, but I am still working out how I feel right now. Wesker has given me quite a lot to think about.

[He brings a hand to his chin.]

I would like to hear your thoughts, Felicia. What was your initial reaction upon learning of Yusei and I's previous involvement?

[Not that it was the Yusei and Heinwald of now, but Heinwald is under the working assumption that they would at least operate similarly.]

I don't think it's disappointing at all. [Felicia states that much with surprisingly firm conviction.] Sometimes you're just...given a lot of stuff to think about, and you gotta get through it at your own pace. I don't think it's a bad thing at all.

[Of course, as for the answer to Heinwald's other question...Felicia pauses for a moment, considering it as she works, attempting to tie one flower into the other and...failing, honestly...

Before setting her work onto her lap and sighing.]

I was...honestly kind of shocked. Hearing everything he said about the both of you, and just what the other...you twos [gods that sounds so dumb, felicia makes a bit of a face at that but close enough] did? I couldn't believe it; it didn't seem like something either of you would do.

[...Maybe outside of befriending Wesker on Heinwald's end, but Felicia's at least polite enough not to say that, and she's...50% sure that isn't what he's talking about.

But still, she pauses again before speaking again.]

I honestly kind of wish I could talk to them, more than anything--if that makes sense? To understand why they did what they did.

Does that make sense...?
