They said I snapped. That I'd been on the battlefield too long, I had some kind of mental break and just indiscriminately killed everyone in my immediate vicinity.
I actually did it because the war was the best experience I'd ever had. Nothing was going to be better than that. I'm not really cut out for civilian life, or for doing some sort of peacetime desk job; the war was all I had, and I wanted to end it on my terms. I figured I'd be shot, but they went with the whole due-process thing instead.
